Quality control process

Excellence Isn’t an Option—It’s the Process

At Translare, quality is the foundation of everything we do. Our commitment goes beyond simple accuracy—we ensure every translation reflects linguistic precision, cultural authenticity, and client-specific requirements. By implementing a structured, multi-phase quality control process, we guarantee results that are not only correct but also contextually and culturally aligned. Our approach is designed to meet international standards while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to each client’s unique needs.

Step 1

Pre-Translation Preparation

We begin by analyzing the source material and preparing it for translation. This includes:

  • Verifying file integrity
  • Identifying scope, timeline, and deliverables
  • Creating or updating glossaries, style guides, and translation memories (TMs)

Step 2

Selection of Linguistic Resources

We assign native-speaking translators and subject-matter experts (SMEs) with proven expertise in the relevant domain to ensure accuracy and industry relevance.

Step 3

Translation, Editing & Proofreading (TEP)

A dedicated team of professional linguists handles the full TEP cycle:

  • Translation by experienced native linguists using approved glossaries and TMs
  • Editing by a second linguist to review terminology, grammar, and consistency
  • Proofreading by a language expert to polish the text for fluency, tone, and cultural accuracy

Step 4

Automated and Manual QA Checks

Our QA specialists run both automated tools and manual reviews to identify:

  • Missing content or formatting issues
  • Spelling, punctuation, or numerical errors
  • TM inconsistencies or layout concerns

Step 5

Final Review & Client-Side Validation

We conduct a final human review to ensure:

  • Formatting and layout are in line with the original
  • All client instructions have been followed
  • The final product is ready for publishing or implementation

Step 6

Post-Delivery Support

We remain available after delivery for:

  • Final tweaks and updates
  • Support with in-market reviews or regression testing
  • Ongoing glossary and TM maintenance for future projects
